LGPD has transformed the way companies handle customer data. In today's post, Jéssica Alvares , responsible for PhoneTrack's legal obligations, will show you how we handle our customers' data. What is LGPD (General Data Protection Law)? Much is heard about the General Data Protection Law, but after all, what defines it? The LGPD (Law 13.709/18) as it is commonly called, exclusively ensures the Holder (individual) and their personal data, providing more security when these data are shared in different situations, especially in those where there is no consent of the Holder for the use of that data. We've all been through a situation where our personal data has been exposed and perhaps, many times we don't realize how harmful this can be.

We started to insert new clauses related to data protection in our contracts, assuring the PhoneTrack Customer guaranteeing the effectiveness of the LGPD to all parties to the contract. In addition, we analyzed and evaluated the internal policies so that they could cover and secure all the data that passes through PhoneTrack, from our employees to the end customer.
